IT MUST SUCK BEING A SCIENO IN MINNEAPOLIS RIGHT ABOUT NOW (November 2006)
The most popular part of Minneapolis, MN is a street called Nicollet Mall. Theres lots of shops, restaurants and hotels and smack dab in the middle of this urban renewal is the Church of Scientology.

The Scientologists are working away inside. On the right side you’ll see the “phonists” making those desperate calls to all and sundry in their efforts to clear the planet of its money. On the left side the recruiters sit at their desks surrounded by flat panel TV screens belching out the latest PR schlock fresh out of brainwashing headquarters.

As you can see, they’re offering a virtual smorgasbord of recruiting tools: IQ tests, Personality Tests and the ever reliable Stress Tests. This past weekend, though, the recruiters did not leave the building. They never stepped out onto the sidewalk. Perhaps it has to do with this:
Notice that
odd structure coming out of the building next door? That
building next door to the Minneapolis
borg is a TV station. Guess which
one?

HERE’S CLUE!
From the building
Façade.
And as a service to all the pedestrian traffic that passes Channel 4 of Minneapolis, they have a small version of a jumbo-tron with a live feed for the street! No wonder the recruiters are not on the street ;-)
