Free Odhran Fortune

Odhran Fortune is a 24 year old man from Gorey Co. Wexford Ireland.

For a number of years now, Odhran has been a member of the Cult of Scientology, both in England and in Denmark.

In December 1996, Odhran came to Ireland to visit his family. His brother Diarmuid went to meet him at Dublin Airport, but such was the change in Odhrans appearance, that Diarmuid walked straight past him without recognising him.

Odhran looked like a survivor from a Concentration Camp. He was completely emaciated and his personality was changed beyond recognition. One friend who met him at this time described him as having the personality of a 10 year old.

The Fortune family were so distraught at Odhrans appearance that they decided to persuade him that he would be better off staying in Ireland where he had friends who would look after him, rather than going back to the Cult, who had obviously been treating him very badly.

On June 1st, Odhran was taken to England by senior Irish members of the Cult. His family are determined that Odhran be released back into their care.

This site is part of the awareness campaign being conducted by friends and family of Odhran Fortune. We know Odhran. We saw the condition he was in at Christmas. We saw how he had come on in the 5 months back at home. We know that his best hope is to be back home with those who love him, not those who only want to take his money.

This campaign will continue, in public, and behind the scenes, until Odhran is returned to Ireland.
